Annie & Nadia Morin

” Annie and Nadia are passionate and caring individuals who are committed to helping clients grow and succeed! ”

Annie brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. She has a 20-year career background in social and employment assistance, community development, project coordination and advocating for underrepresented voices.

She is a strategic leader with a strong commitment to community partnerships and service delivery. Annie has been instrumental in the achievement of many successes over the past years and has a track record of excellent front-line community engagement as well as fostering meaningful and lasting relationships with her internal and external stakeholders.

Some of Annie’s most noteworthy accomplishments include her leadership role as the Chair the Health & Wellness Committee, President and Chief Steward of her Union’s local, Advisor of the “I Wanna Feel Good” Conference Steering Committee and Winner of the 2016-17 Rise Award in the category of ‘Connecting and Engaging’.

Annie’s drive for collaboration never ceases and she always brings her enthusiasm and critical thinking abilities to consultations with her colleagues, partners and clients. Outside of work, Annie is happily married, raising two wonderful children and caring for her fur-babies! In her spare time, Annie enjoys a good happy hour with friends, practicing mindfulness, yoga and Zumba and seeking adventure at camp!

Nadia obtained a Bachelors’ Degree at Laurentian University and then pursued her studies in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology as a Communicative Disorders Assistant. She then furthered her education as a Registered Massage Therapist and as a Yoga & Pilates teacher.

Education, Business and Health has been in the forefront of Nadia’s goals and dreams for the past 25 years. She spent most of her career in Ottawa working in International Education as Directors of Corporate Affairs. Since her return to Sudbury over 10 years ago, Nadia has been the owner and operator of “For a Better Tomorrow” delivering services as a business consultant, as a health care practitioner and as community college professor.

As a small business owner, Nadia understands that customer service and relationships are the foundation of building productive and efficient relationships with our team and partners. Her strength lies in her ability to assess needs, brainstorm possible solutions and to positively navigate through challenges.

Nadia truly believes that her career path and her personal development have fully prepared her to be an owner and manager of Plan A—she loves what she does and the person she has become through this experience. What she appreciates most about this journey is her feeling within that she is aligned with her own purpose and being part of a team that serves a “greater purpose”. She feels fulfilled in her responsibility to provide individuals with employment, to support long term care management teams in their mission and honored to be part of a collective leadership group that ensures the wellbeing and loving care of our most vulnerable population.

When Nadia is not passionately involved in a new business venture or project, she practices yoga, meditation, and Pilates. You will definitely find her at the community pool 5-6 times per week, playing guitar, kayaking, creating a stain glass project and writing. Her goal in life is to find a perfect work / life balance. And now, her mission is to extend this dream of a perfect / work balance to the team and the partners of Plan A Halton.
